Abs Workouts For Men
Men want great abs. It’s senseless to suggest otherwise. Why else does every other men’s health magazine feature a shirtless man on the front cover, sporting his trim, rippling belly to the consternation of those of us who maintain a certain well roundedness? There’s something iconic about 6 pack abs, after all. The best athletes sport it. The sexiest models. The fittest stars all do stomach exercises.
But let’s get one thing straight: guys that get their photo taken for the covers of magazines also have the time and money needed to get the bodies they want. And don’t kid yourself. Getting a completely toned and trim body does take time and money. It also takes a whole lot of effort and some stomach exercises.
So let’s find something for the rest of us, perhaps an ab belt? We are not professional athletes. We do not get paid to act in movies. We are not asked to model underwear for anyone, ever. But there’s nothing saying we can’t try to look and feel a little better about the middle. There’s nothing saying abs workouts for men are reserved for only a few of us. If we have your attention by now, read on. You’ll like what you hear.
Start simple. There’s no rush. Ask yourself what you like to do that’s at least mildly physically strenuous. If you like to walk, get some decent shoes and hit the bricks. If you like to hike, take to the trail. If you like to swim…you get the idea. Chances are, guys, you can think of something physical you like to do. Now the trick is to fit it into the warp and woof of your busy life.
Once you’ve done this, you might be able to identify specific exercises that will enhance your performance. Leg and arm work would be ideal for swimming. More leg work and a great core are perfect for hiking. Again, you get the idea. The point is, you don’t have to develop an insane fitness program to enjoy physical transformation. And this goes double for guys with a lot of extra weight and fluff to lose. Just getting out there and doing it regularly is going to make a big difference. Maybe even trying one of the EMS ab belts out there.
After you’ve busied yourself with totally enjoying your fitness experiences, if you’re still interested in finding the absolute best abs workouts for men, then there are plenty of resources out there for you. But let’s be honest with ourselves. Most of us would be happy as clams to achieve a modicum of fitness and endurance. And once we’ve experienced that, we’ll be happy to keep it up.

Abs workouts, HA, who needs that? I’m just relaxing, going fishing, if I have a little bit of a gut, who cares? Not the grandkids, that’s for sure.
I never tried p90x but I read people like it. I am in decent shape just need a get my abs to look a little more cut. I am thinking the flex belt could help me. Saw some good videos on youtube about it.
a long commute by car, a desk job and computer work at home, hardly allows enough time in the day to keep moving. a quick abs workout to follow my 30 minutes on the treadmill will suffice for busy men on a tight schedule, thanks.
a nice long hike sounds about right, and laying off the chips could help. have to say ilike what i seen on the flex belt for an abs workout, could wear that while hiking & see results extra fast i would bet.
So the Flex belt maybe feels like mild contractions, same as if you’re doing crunches, would be my guess.
Alcohol in general, not only beer,is very bad for muscle growth!!!
yeah but you’re not suggesting we cut it out completely, just to improve our ab workouts? seems a bit extreme.
my thought is, combine an ab belt with a solid abs workout and exercise and will probably see better results, faster too.
IS muscle milk a good protein shake, do you guys know?
Want to know about abs workout for a man who’s getting on in years a bit, don’t want to hurt my back, what about that ab roller, thinkthat might be ok, or just an ab EMS belt of some kind, maybe that’s the best way for me to go, no danger of hurting myself, that’s for sure.
I don’t suggest anything, i am just saying how it is, if you want to get ripped and build muscle, gotta cut the alcohol completely. Its up to you to do the right thing for you.
